Waltham Forest Claims Cut In Childhood Obesity
One London borough claims there's been a reduction in childhood obesity since it introduced new restrictions on fast food restaurants.
A year ago, Waltham Forest banned takeaways from opening within 4 hundred metres of schools, leisure centres and parks.
Since then, the proportion of obese 9 and 10-year-olds has fallen from 22 to 20 per cent.
It's coincided with a push for better quality school meals.
