What happens to gold teeth or metal pins in people's legs when they are cremated?

Answer: Anything that goes into the coffin and goes into the cremator has to be swept up and go into the urn. You can make out lumps of gold or metal bars in the ash. It's illegal to remove anything from the furnace.
