Answer: You can get them. They are made by Knorr and are available at all good retail establishments. They've been around for the last 18 months or so.

Answer: The reason that they've just arrived is that they're of no use to man or beast. As a professional chef, when you're making stock, you make two kinds, white stock and brown stock. White is made with chicken bones which haven't been put in the oven and brown with bones that have previously been put through the oven. For stock cubes, you had chicken for white and beef for brown. Now someone in marketing has come up with the idea of extra flavours to sell more.
