Why do posh shoes disintegrate quickly?

When you wear a pair of shoes – then leave them for a year, then wear them again why do they disintegrate? It’s happened twice to me.

Answer: The glue on shoes are drying out, which happens if you store them for too long. To avoid that, use dubbin or another conditioner to make them survive for longer. Some people artificially dry shoes under a radiator and that will cause them to disintegrate as well.
