Why do we recommend Virgin Money Giving?
There are lots of online giving sites to choose from, all of them giving different amounts of your sponsorship to the charity.
We have chosen to recommend that you use Virgin Money Giving, and here is why:
- Virgin Money Giving is the cheapest online giving website we have found. All online giving sites charge transaction fees, but because Virgin Money Giving runs on a not-for-profit basis we receive more of each donation you make compared to other sites.
- Including Gift Aid, the charity receives a fantastic £12.47 for every £10 donated.
- Unlike some other giving sites, Virgin Money Giving does not charge the charity a monthly fee to be listed.
- Because it claims the Gift Aid on our behalf, and does not charge us for this service, we save time and money spent on processing tax relief.
All of this means that more money can go exactly where it is needed!
