Why do you get change note first then coins?
QuestionWhen you buy something with a note and get change, why do they always give you change with the note first, then the change, which then slips off? Why not give us the coins, then the note?
Susan, Pall Mall
Answer** Definitive **
Name: Kim, Harrow
Qualification: I’ve been to shops
Answer: It’s very practical, as when you get given the change that way, you can count it in one glance. If the change was below a note, you would not be able to change it. Plus it stops the note blowing away.
