Why don't bakers list ingredients on loaves?

Answer: The British Packaging laws say that only items that are pre-packaged need to contain a list of ingredients that are in that package. If you sell it loose with no pre-packaging, you don’t need to. Hence, loose loaves, sweets and butchers sausages don’t need ingredients.
