Question

Why don’t we have double decker cars? They would be able to hold up to 8 or 10 people.

Answer: The reason we don’t have them is that the taller you are, the more likely you are to fall over when you go around corners, as your centre of gravity is much higher. To make a double decker car, you’d have to have so much weight across the bottom, it wouldn’t be viable. They probably won’t pass the NCAP crash test. A double decker bus is much longer, so it has better physics. There’s also no demand for this!
