Why is "nursing" good, but "doctoring" bad?

Question

Why is “nursing” something good, but “doctoring” something bad? You nurse someone to health, but doctor a document.
Glenn, Twickenham

Answer

** Definitive **
Name: Amit, Barnet
Qualification: Doctor and cardiologist
Answer: When you doctor something, you are changing the natural progression of a disease or a patient, so you’re doing something against God’s will. When you nurse something, you are helping them along the natural progression. So to doctor is to unnaturally intervene.
