Why is Wales not represented on the Union Jack flag? England and Scotland are there, but not Wales.

Answer: The Kingdom of England annexed Wales, while England and Scotland entered a central political agreement. So the Scottish flag took a part of the new national flag, but Wales didn’t, as they has essentially been conquered.
