Will New Plans to Tackle Mental Health Issues Work?

The Government has announced it is putting £400 million into mental healthcare provision, promising to put it on an equal footing with physical health.
The new strategy also wants to tackle it early on to prevent it developng - with more focus on the mental health of children - as well as reducing the stigma attached to it.
Nick spoke to Paul Farmer, the CEO of Mind, a charity that deals with mental health and has been consulted by the Government for this mental health strategy.
He also spoke to 35 year old Louise Luxton, who suffers from anxiety and depression and has been on and off anti depressants for the last 8 years.
