Fire crews are battling a blaze at the iconic Eastbourne Pier in Sussex.

A full evacuation of the pier has been undertaken and six crews are at the scene.
Firefighters are working hard to prevent the escalation of the fire to other areas of the pier.
The public has been urged to avoid the area and any properties nearby should keep doors and windows closed.
