Los Angeles nightclub crash which left 30 injured may have been intentional, police say
A crash which critically injured 30 people after a vehicle reportedly drove into a crowd outside a nightclub in Los Angeles may have been intentional, according to police.

8-10 people are also in a serious condition, authorities have confirmed after the incident on Santa Monica Boulevard near West Hollywood on Saturday just before 2am.
More than 30 people have been affected, the LA Fire Department said.
Cameras in the area are still being canvassed, but the incident appears to have been intentional, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The force said officers "found the driver being assaulted by bystanders and determined he had sustained a gunshot wound". The wound was sustained after the collision, according to police.
The LAPD say the person suspected of inflicting the gunshot wound - a man described by police as a 5ft 9in, bald, Hispanic, and possibly carrying a silver revolver - fled on foot.
He was thrown out of the nightclub earlier in the night for being "disruptive", the LAPD said.
Sergeant Travis Ward said the driver had been taken to hospital for surgery, and it is as of yet unknown whether he was intoxicated or not.
Pictures from the scene show a grey car on a pavement with debris strewn on the ground, and a large police presence.
There have also been unconfirmed reports of gunshots being head before the incident.
Victims were taken to local hospitals and trauma centres, according to Captain Adam Van Gerpen, public information officer for Los Angeles City Fire Department.
Mr Van Gerpen told ABC that a line of people - the majority female - were waiting to enter the nightclub when they were struck by a vehicle that also hit a food truck and valet stand.
Paramedics also discovered one of the patients had a gunshot wound, he added.
