Police in the City of London want to trace a jogger after an assault on a pedestrian which left the victim with a broken nose.

The jogger allegedly barged through a group of three pedestrians on the pavement outside the RBS building on Threadneedle Street in the City of London at around 9pm on October 18.

He is suspected of swinging an elbow out, hitting one of the pedestrians in the face and breaking his nose.

PC Claire Geldart, from the City of London Police, said: “Today we have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this unnecessarily violent incident, which has left a blameless pedestrian with a serious and painful injury.

“If anyone is able to identify this man we would ask that they contact police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information can call City of London police on 101 quoting the reference 19*558006 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
