Man charged after woman is stabbed to death in Enfield

A man has been charged with murder after a woman was knifed to death in Enfield, North London, yesterday.
Criston Preddie, 28, of Tennyson Close, Enfield will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court later today.
Police say no one else is being sought in connection with the death and that they believe the suspect and the victim were related.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was found with stab injuries by police after being called to property.
Despite efforts by paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
