The US electronic pioneer performed the parody song to a massive crowd on Friday towards the end of his set, teeing it up as the Irish "national anthem".
Moby even included Father Ted's desperate "I can get this..." refrain as the priest strained for a guitar chord he wasn't familiar with.
The song was written by characters Father Ted and Father Dougal in A Song for Europe, a season two episode of the cult comedy in 1996.
The original version, which was performed acoustically by Moby, was so terrible that it led to Father Jack shooting Ted's guitar.
The priests improved their song's instrumental by setting the lyrics to an obscure backing track, but they were later forced to perform the original at Eurovision when they found the backing track was more well-known than they thought. It led to them receiving no points at the competition.
Moby performed the song, with thousands singing along, before launching into Extreme Ways, one of his best-known hits, which was also the soundtrack of the Bourne films.
A Song For Europe is one of the best-known episodes of Father Ted, which ran for three series from 1995 before the death of the eponymous actor Dermot Morgan in 1998.
