Moment Suspect Caught By Police Officer Who Borrowed His Abandoned Bike

This is the moment a police officer in Birmingham caught a suspect on the bike he abandoned.
A suspect who sprinted at the sight of a police car was caught by a police officer who chased him on his own bike, that he had abandoned just moments earlier.
Police in Birmingham tweeted about the incident, in which the suspect was allegedly "smashing a store front up".
They said: "Imagine being a crook, half way through a crime, and seeing a police car.
"You drop your bike and run away, only to see a cop chasing you down on your own pushbike."
The man was caught, and at the time of the tweet was held in custody.
