The Metropolitan Police said despite awaiting formal identification, the victim can be named as Daniel Manuel.

He collapsed inside DAMAC Tower, which is part of the Nine Elms development, according to The Standard.

He was found to have suffered knife injuries and died, even though medical staff from the London Ambulance Service tended to the man.

Abdul Kareem Fawaz, 35, of Bondway, Vauxhall, was charged with murder and possession of a knife on Sunday, following police officers being called to a residential address in Vauxhall just after 5.30am on Saturday.

The 35-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday July 7.
