A British tourist has been found dead under 'suspicious circumstances' in the bathroom of a Turkish hotel where he was staying.

Staff at the residence in the Konakli area of Alanya, southern Turkey, found the 43-year-old male lying unconscious on the bathroom floor.
He was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of emergency services.
The man's death was classed as suspicious by a forensic physician.

A Foreign Office spokesperson said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Turkey."
In January, an inquest heard how another British tourist fell to his death, plunging from a hotel balcony while drunk.
Crane operator Antony Maxwell was smoking a cigarette at the Alanya resort before he fell from the fifth floor.
He was taken to hospital and died from a severe head injury.
His grandmother, Lynn Mann, said: "The fact of the matter is this is just tragic."
Meanwhile, a British teenager was left in critical condition after falling from a third-floor building in Ibiza last week.
Last year, Scottish law student Emma Ramsay, 19, was on Holiday with friends on the party Island when she fell from a balcony at the Hotel Vibra District at around 3am.
The teenager, from Hamilton, was declared dead at the scene.Ramsay had been enjoying a night out with friends before the tragic incident occurred, social media posts show.
