James O'Brien and an LBC Caller have discussed what should be done to deal with the consequences of climate change in the UK.

It comes as the Met Office has said the UK’s climate of the 20th century “has now gone” and that once extreme conditions are now very normal.
It also warns of a climate “on the move”, with warmer conditions being imported into the south and colder climates shrinking in the northern uplands.
The report on the record-hot, drought year of 2025 is published as this year sees the third heatwave in as many months, as human-caused climate change – mostly caused by burning fossil fuels – drives more extreme weather.
