Mayor of London Sadiq Khan was live on LBC, taking questions from LBC listeners - watch the whole thing.
Mr Khan was in the LBC studio being grilled by listeners with James O'Brien.
On the week that Leicester became the first area to be placed in local lockdown, Sadiq called for greater local powers to do the same thing in London if he needs to.
He also called for the rest of the UK to copy Scotland in making facemasks mandatory in shops.
