Pressure mounts on government after Tory MP Nusrat Ghani claimed she was fired from the party for her 'Muslimness'. Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab told Tom that the Conservatives "can't trigger the mechanisms" to take the matter further until Ms Ghani makes a formal complaint.

Conservative MP David Davis joined LBC to share his view that the PM should step down. He told listeners that the "kindest thing" the PM could do is resign.
