Traitors winner Rachel taken to hospital in ‘severe pain’ after slicing thumb open in horror blender accident
The reality star said she "nearly passed out" when she saw the massive slash on her hand.
Rachel Duffy was left in "severe pain" after slicing her finger open during a shocking blender accident, the Traitors winner has revealed.

The reality star said she ended up slicing her finger open and was rushed to A&E after the accident.
Taking to Instagram, Rachel revealed she ran out of the house covered in blood after cutting herself accidentally two weeks ago.
She wrote in a the caption of the post: "Oopsie daisy. Everyday's a school day!!! The lesson learned in this little bump in the road…..take the time to read the instructions on a new kitchen blender. A big thank you to the medical staff who looked after me over the past couple of weeks. You are absolute angels.
"Thank goodness I’m a leftie."
In a series of images she posted to the platform, some showed her thumb wrapped in bandages while others showed her with fresh stitches.

"Warning, do not swipe if you're squeamish", she wrote above the first picture.
She added that there was "always one friend in every group that's accident prone", adding it was her.
Rachel wrote alongside an image of her in a hospital waiting room: "Two weeks ago, I had an accident with a blender blade which resulted in a trip to A&E. Yes I'm in flip flips and jammie bottoms as I ran out the door with a blood soaked tea towel wrapped around my hand.
"I got an X-ray just in case the blade chipped the bone but luckily it didn't. I ended up with a few stitches.
Seven days after the accident, I was back in the local treatment room to get my stitches out when things didn't feel or look quite right..."
She said she was in "severe pain" and had "numbness in the thumb" and as there was "limited movement" she had to go back to hospital for another assessment before being referred to specialists.
Rachel added: "Did a number on myself and completely severed my dorsal nerve and partially lacerated my tendon," she explained alongside a picture of her with two surgeons.
"Had surgery on Monday and these legends repaired both in one go. I'm lucky my face is washed here. My 12 year old tied my hair back. Cue two days of feeling sorry for myself as the anaesthesia wears off and the nerve pain kicks in."
Explaining what the surgeons did, Rachel continued: "They had to widen the original laceration to get a good look inside the hand. Hats off to medical professionals. You are phenomenal!"
Rachel said she "nearly passed out" when she saw the massive slash on her hand.
Her cast is wrapped up now but she has to wear it for the next 10 weeks, she added.
