All 20 living Israeli hostages have now been freed by Hamas, two hours before the deadline set out in Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan.

Families of Israeli hostages have heard their relatives’ voices for the first time in two years as they were freed today.
Now, Israel is due to release nearly 2,000 Palestinians held in captivity.

Freed hostage Matan Zangauker spoke to his family over the phone for the first time in 738 days.
His mother Einav told him: “You’re coming home - you’re all coming home. There’s no more war!”
The developments come as Donald Trump arrived in Israel. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, the US president said: “The war is over.'
“People are tired of it, it's been centuries,' he said. 'The ceasefire will hold, we're going to make sure it holds.”
Donald Trump is now addressing the Israeli Parliament ahead of travelling to Egypt to join world leaders at a historic peace summit.

Donald Trump hails ‘golden age’ for Israel
Donald Trump has declared today marks the start of a 'historic dawn of a new Middle East' in a speech at Israel’s parliament.
The US President said today was not only the end of a war but an end to an 'age of terror and death' and the start of a 'grand concord of lasting humanity'.
The last 20 living hostages held by Hamas in Gaza are now back in Israel after more than two years in captivity. The hostages were kidnapped by Hamas during the 7 October attacks in 2023.
Hamas has yet to hand over the remains of up to 28 deceased hostages and Israel has released almost 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

Trump hints at peace with Iran
Donald Trump is now discussing the possibility of peace with Iran.
"It would be great if we could make a peace deal with them - and I think that's me," Trump says.
"Would you be happy with that? Wouldn't it be nice?" he asks.
The Knesset responds with applause.
"I think they want to; I think they're tired," he adds.
"Only by embracing the opportunities of this moment can we achieve our goal of ensuring that the horrors of recent years will never happen again," he says.
Trump thanks US officials, generals and military might for peace deal
Trump is now listing off names of people he thanks for achieving today's peace deal.
He thanks special envoy Steve Witkoff, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
He also pins the deal on the US' military might, declaring "peace through strength."
'The long nightmare is finally over'
"We gather in a day of profound joy and soaring hope of renewed faith and above all a day to give our deepest thanks to the almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob," Trump told Israel's Parliament.
He said that "after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent and the sirens are still".
"This is not only the end of a war, this is the end of an age of terror and death and the beginning of the age of faith and hope, and of God," he adds.
"It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region.
"This long nightmare is finally over."

Trump speech interrupted by left-wing Knesset member
A protester has just been dragged out of the Israeli parliament during Donald Trump's address.
The hecklers have been identified as left-wing members of the Knesset Hadash-Ta’al MKs Ayman Odeh and Ofer Cassif.
They held up signs reading "recognise Palestine."
After they were dragged out, Trump joked: "Well, that was very efficient."
Taking to X after the incident, Cassif said: "This is the sign I raised together with my friend @AyOdeh.
"We didn’t come to disturb, but to demand justice.
"True peace that will save both peoples of this land from destruction will only come with the end of the occupation and apartheid and the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel. Refuse to be occupiers!
"Resist the government of bloodshed!"

Trump speaks of 'new dawn' and 'golden age' in the Middle East
Donald Trump has told Israel's parliament that today is "the dawn of a new Middle East" as he thanked leaders from across the region.
He said today marks the beginning of an era of "faith and god."
"Generations from now, this will be remembered as the moment where everything changed."
Donald Trump nominated for Israel's 'highest honour'
Benjamin Netanyahu has nominated Donald Trump for the highest honour Israel grants its citizens.
"I want you to get the Israel Prize, our highest award to our greatest friend," he said.
"When others were weak, you were strong. When others were fearful, you were bold. When others abandoned us, you stood by our side.
"On behalf of the government and people of Israel, I thank you for your extraordinary friendship, thank you for helping bring our hostages home, thank you for supporting Israel's march to victory and thank you for paving a path to peace."

Keir Starmer expresses 'deep relief' as hostages are returned home
Sir Keir Starmer has issued a statement on today's hostage swap in the last few minutes.
Taking to X, he wrote: "I share the deep feeling of relief as Avinatan Or and other hostages are released today.
"But this is also a stark reminder of the treatment that he has been subject to at the hands of Hamas, and the atrocities that shook the world two years ago.
"Having met his family, I know that no one can truly understand the torture and agony they suffered for two drawn out years and my thoughts are with them. My thoughts are also with the family of Yossi Sharabi, who are still waiting for news.
"I reiterate my thanks for the tireless diplomatic efforts of the United States, Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye.
"It is now crucial that we work together to implement President Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, and that will be my focus in Egypt today.
"Commitment to this plan from all parties will be essential to ending the war and building the foundations for a sustainable path to a long-term peace.
"The UK will support the crucial next stage of talks to ensure the implementation of the peace plan."
