Donald Trump has won the US presidential race against Kamala Harris in a comeback victory and will return to the White House after four years away.

He won after seizing victory in the swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
Vice-president Harris told her supporters to accept Mr Trump's victory and said that the peaceful transition of power was an important part of democracy.
