Man stabbed in ‘targeted assault’ in Glasgow

Police were called to reports of a stabbing less than a mile from the scene of the Glasgow knife attack.
The attack took place less than a mile from the scene of the Glasgow knife attack on Friday but the two incidents are not linked.
Emergency services were called to reports of "screaming and a man covered in blood" at Traders’ bar on Argyle Street in Glasgow shortly after midday.
There have been reports of one person taken away by an ambulance, while three police cars remain on the scene.

Inspector Gareth Griffiths said: "We were called around 12.10pm on Sunday, 28 June, to a report of an assault in Argyle Street, Glasgow. Officers are currently at the scene.
"We believe this was a targeted assault and we do not believe there is a threat to the wider public.”
