Remain's Chuka Umunna lambasts Ukip's "disgusting" Breaking Point poster.
Speaking just after Nigel Farage on LBC this morning, Umunna responded to the Ukip leader's claims that Baroness Warsi hadn't even campaigned for a Leave vote.
The Labour MP insisted he was aware that Warsi was backing Brexit, then highlighted the "Breaking Point" poster that Warsi claimed was behind her switching sides.
"For her, the poster that was unveiled by Ukip stepped over the line last week. I didn't hear all of your exchanges with Nigel Farage about this in the previous half an hour, but he seems to have suggested that had it not been for the absolutely appalling and tragic death of Jo Cox there wouldn't be the row about the poster that there was.
"I can assure you that sometime before the news broke, people were condemning it. I condemned it.
"It was a vile and disgusting poster...it would have been condemned."
