The Duchess of Sussex wept as she spoke to close friend and IT Cosmetics CEO Jamie Kernlima about her two children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

She became emotional as she told the host that she sends her kids an email every day to create a "time capsule" they could revisit when they are older.

In a teaser clip for the chat posted on Instagram, the 43-year-old said: "I wasn't expecting this, they're just so great."

As well as discussing her family life in Montecito, the American also admitted to host Jamie that she was more in love with her husband now than she's ever been.

She described how the couple "immediately went into the trenches" when they started dating, saying: "You have to imagine, at the beginning it's all butterflies - but then we immediately went into the trenches together.

"Right out of the gate, like six months into dating. So now seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way. And that's why I feel like it's more of a honeymoon period for us now."

Meghan started dating Harry in 2016, with the pair going public with their relationship that November.

They announced they were stepping down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020 and subsequently moved to the US.

Speaking about the Prince on the podcast, Meghan called her husband "a fox" because of how "very very handsome", before added that his "heart is even more beautiful".

Her appearance on the podcast comes after the Duchess shared unseen photographs of her children on Instagram on Sunday.

Snapped during a "cosy weekend" at their Montecito home, Princess Lilibet could be seen with her hair down and wearing a pink top, while Prince Archie wore a navy blue, long-sleeved shirt.
