An unprovoked man threatened to pull a knife on Pride goers as they travelled back to London.

A man who called Pride goers pedophiles and dirty threatened to pull a knife on them as they headed home from the festival.

Video filmed on a train leaving Brighton shows the aggressive man shouting at the other passengers.

Benjamin Butterworth, a journalist who had attended the beach-side festival, wrote on Twitter that the man was calling them "pedophiles and dirty and shouted gay people need to all be killed."

He said that the man "was eventually taken off the train by police in handcuffs" but wasn't sure what happened afterwards."

After reportedly boarding the train half way to London, the man began to shout at passengers calling them 'poofs' and 'batty men'.

The video shows the man keeping one hand in his trousers, as he pointed at the passengers around him.

"The video is a fraction of what he said, as was too scared and shaken to film," Mr Butterworth said.
