Marksman Pub Bethnal Green

The Marksman pub in Bethnal Green was named Michelin Pub of the Year - the first time a London pub has won the award.

The pub is owned and run by two chefs, Tom Harris and Jon Rotheram, who previously worked for the renowned St John group of restaurants was praised for being “a proper neighbourhood pub”.

Harris and Rotheram re-opened the pub in 2015 and have watched it grow from a local highlight to a national one.

With their high-culinary backgrounds the pub has a strong focus on food, and the menu is dedicated to British flavours and traditions.
