WATCH: Arsonist Attacks Fuel Truck In South London

This is the moment a crazed arsonist set a truck filled with fuel on fire in South London, causing £30,000 damage.

The CCTV shows the incident that took place at around 10pm on the 19th January at Mulberry Automotives on Fishers Way in Bexley.

The footage shows the suspect squeeze through bent railings and enter the yard with a fuel can. Moments later, there is an explosion and the suspect appears to run towards a tanker, pour fuel over the rear of the cab and set it alight.

The cab of the lorry was destroyed. Fortunately the trailer with 6,000 litres of diesel was undamaged. Damage of around £30,000 was caused. The suspect ran off towards the nearby scaffolding company.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a light coloured top and bottoms.
