Mohammad Abdullah, 30, was sentenced at Grimsby Crown Court to six years in prison and will also serve an eight-year driving ban.

The clip shows him driving at speed towards two men - Mark Thompson and Kervin Morson - who were crossing the road. One of them appears to be using a walking stick.

After nearly hitting the men, Abdullah stops the vehicle.

The two men approach the passenger door and after an exchange of words, Abdullah reverses the car and steers it at speed towards the terrified pair. Both suffered leg fractures in the attack.

Judge Peter Kelson told Abdullah, who pleaded guilty to two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent: "This is, in your life, an isolated, albeit shocking, incident."
