Man in 20s stabbed multiple times at London shopping centre

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed repeatedly at a shopping centre in London.

The victim, in his 20s, was found with multiple knife wounds at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday.

The victim’s injuries are not life threatening, it is understood.

The attack took place shortly after 7pm last night.

A Met Police statement said: "He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a west London hospital."

Police said a section 60 stop and search order had been put in place for the London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Chelsea until 7am today.

Another man was also found with stab injuries in Whitechapel on Saturday. The victim is critically injured in hospital.

Two men were arrested a the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

It comes after a fatal stabbing at the Stratford Centre in London last week.
