One man has been hospitalised after ten suspected migrants were found in a lorry on the M25 in Essex.

The discovery comes just hours after 16 people were found in a sealed container on a ferry to Ireland.

The vehicle was found near Waltham Abbey at around 6 pm on Thursday, according to Essex Police.

No further details on the ages or nationalities of the men have been made available.

In October, 39 Vietnamese migrants were found dead in the back of a lorry in Grays, Essex, including 10 teenagers.

On Thursday afternoon, Irish Police found 16 people sealed in a trailer onboard a ferry from the French port of Cherbourg to Rosslare in southeast Ireland

They were discovered after staff members heard noise coming from inside the refrigerated container.
