Thursday 20th April is Mental Health Day on LBC. It's time to talk about Mental Health.
It can take a decade for someone to talk about their mental health.
So LBC and charity Heads Together are starting the conversation.
Mental health matters.
The Global Academy is being officially launched on Thursday 20th April by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge & Prince Harry as part of their Heads Together campaign to change the conversation on mental health.
In honour of the opening, Global is running a special day of programmes across its stations including LBC, Heart and Capital, to encourage people across the country to talk about mental health.
We'll be joined by some very famous faces talking about their struggles with mental health - as well as lots of the ordinary callers who make LBC what it is.
The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are spearheading Heads Together, in partnership with eight leading mental health charities. The campaign is highlighting the power of conversations and how being able to talk openly about mental health challenges can be life changing.
