There is “no justification” for broadcasting Diana private tapes. Royal biographer Penny Junor told LBC it’s “a money making exercise” and “voyeuristic”.

Penny Junor described a decision by Channel 4 to broadcast private video recordings of Diana, Princess of Wales, as “pure exploitation” and “immoral”.

In the recordings Diana discusses her failing marriage and her love affair with a royal protection officer has been condemned as “exploitative” and “hurtful”.

Penny Junor told Andrew they should stay “private” adding it will cause “enormous upset and for what?”
