The growing cost of providing the state pension is a huge issue - so why can't Labour's Shadow Pensions Secretary Alex Cunningham give a straight answer on it?

Clive was asking Cunningham if the "triple lock" - the system that ensures that pensions rise every year - should be scrapped, after some MPs called it "unsustainable".

A straightforward question, but one that Cunningham wasn't able to give a straightforward answer on.

"It sounds like, on this triple lock issue, you haven't really got a policy yet," said Clive.

"We've a very clear policy," insisted Cunningham.

"Really?"
