Iain Dale branded this caller “a disgusting individual” as he cut him off amid a row over anti-Semitism.

Ron phoned LBC after Jeremy Corbyn was accused of being an “anti-Semite” and a “racist” by a senior Labour MP.

Dame Margaret Hodge confronted the Labour leader directly after a row over the party's adoption of a new code of conduct on anti-Semitism.

She’s now facing action by the party.

Ron called Iain to defend Mr Corbyn, insisting he couldn’t be racist because the people making the accusations are “white Europeans”.

In a startling phone call, he then tried to argue over Dame Margaret’s religious beliefs - to the point Iain told him: “You sound like a typical anti-Semite”.

“I love Arabic people, I love Falasha people, I love people from the Middle East,” the caller replied.

“I cannot be anti-Semitic.”

Iain asked: “Do you love Jewish people?”

Ron responded: “People that belong to the Jewish religion? It depends how they treat me.”

But his reply was the final straw for Iain, as he slammed the fader shut.

The LBC presenter finished: “So you’re caveating it? You my friend are a disgusting individual who I don’t want on my radio programme, goodbye.”

The call left LBC listeners astonished. Watch it above.
