Katie Hopkins completely lost it when a caller suggested Theresa May needs to remember "she's a woman first" ahead of her meeting with President Trump.
Theresa May has confirmed she will meet Donald Trump at the White House next week.
One caller, David, phoned Katie to talk about the meeting, and said: “Theresa May first and foremost will realise that she is a woman. And deep in her heart and soul she will have utterances to President Trump, I have to call him that with respect, Trump has made about women.”
Katie interrupted: “Do you think Theresa May should feel that she’s a woman first? Is that really what her job is? I thought she was our Prime Minister, correct me if I’m wrong.”
David responded: “Facts are facts.”
But Katie was not happy with his comments. She said: “Oh for goodness sake, David, I just can’t stand all this ‘being a woman’ thing.
“What is it with people? Even men, David, I use that term loosely with you sir, but you know even men now say that Theresa May needs to remember she’s a woman first. I’m sick with this.
“I’m sick of it, no David, I’m sick of it. I’m sick of people wanting something because they’re a woman. You know what I don’t want anything because I am a woman.
“I’ve started to table thump, that’s not good is it? I don’t want anything because I am a woman. I only want something, I only want to be recruited on merit, I only want to be paid on performance, I only want to be rewarded on results.
“And you know what? If I’m no good, I want to be sacked. If people don’t want to listen to me, sack me tomorrow, for goodness sake, and put people out of their misery.”
She added: “I’m sick of people talking about, marching because they’re women, protesting because they’re women, and thinking the first thing that Theresa May needs to speak about with Donald Trump is the fact that she’s a woman. Women get over yourselves, for goodness sake.”
