Maajid: Far Right Aren’t Patriots, They're Traitors

Maajid Nawaz has a clear message for the far right: "You are not patriots, you are traitors."
As the resurgent far right become emboldened across Europe, Maajid has a brutally clear message for the people who say that they are patriotic.
“I have a message for you to these far right fascists, who consider themselves patriots.”
"You're not patriots, you are traitors to this country and the reason you are traitors to this country is because one of the easiest ways to determine a traitor is to see who they're in bed with.
“You are supported by Vladimir Putin and his efforts to support, fund, organise and galvanise the far right in this country. Putin has been organising conferences every year to reconcile you traitors back together and it worked and you fell for his plan.”
But Nawaz insisted that the far right faced a fight.
“We defeated your ilk in World War Two we will continue with civil resistance and with all the means available, whether it's the microphone of this radio station or whether it's the newspaper columns or whether it's the protests and demonstrations to resist your far right treachery.”
“Because we fought a war, a major catastrophic war, to put your views down and we will continue to resist the fascism that you espouse. It's not patriotism to support neo-Nazis, it's not patriotism to support Russian despotism."
