Nick Ferrari: We Left 'Failing' EU, Not Europe

27 June 2016, 10:08 | Updated: 22 August 2016, 17:31

Nick Ferrari wants to makes something clear about Thursday’s vote: we didn’t leave Europe, we left the ‘failing’ political union.

Talking on his LBC show, Nick said that the priority now must be to get the right team in place to negotiate the new deal with Brussels.

"Let's get one thing absolutely straight. Britain has not voted to leave Europe, it's voted to leave European political union."

"This, for many, was an organisation that had failed to spot the problem with the migrant crisis, failed to spot that Britain was, in a sense getting ready to leave, failed to spot that sense across the rest of the continent, failed to deal with joblessness in Greece, Spain and Portugal, and sometimes even failed to file any accounts."

"That is what Britain voted for. The key now is to get the right people in place to negotiate the new look for a new dawn."
