"The House Of Lords Needs To Be Replaced"

Nigel Farage believes the House of Lords should be scrapped after it “meddled” with the Government’s Brexit bill.

Peers voted for an amendment which says EU nationals’ right to stay in the UK should be guaranteed post-Brexit.

Although Nigel argued he thought the Government had got its stance on the issue wrong, he was not happy Lords had interfered.

Speaking on his LBC show, he said: “I think we are going to have to have ultimately some kind of Senate but, with a lot of genuine expert committees.

“Because the point about the House of Lords is that it's a reforming chamber its job is to look at legislation and say to governments you may have got this wrong think again separate debate I know what we're talking about tonight but relevant none the less.”
