Caller Impresses Shelagh Fogarty With Her Strong Case For Corbyn

Yvonne from Enfield called Shelagh Fogarty to speak up for Jeremy Corbyn, and she might have changed a few minds.
“Yvonne from Enfield for PM!” “Love Yvonne!” “Yvonne from Enfield was a brilliant caller. Well done.” These were some of the responses to Yvonne’s call that people shared on social media.
She made a strong case for Jeremy Corbyn's leadership of Labour and what he could do for the country.
“Jeremy Corbyn is giving the power back to the people.
“If people vote for Jeremy Corbyn it will be him steering the way the party is going to go.”
Yvonne believes Corbyn offers an entirely different direction to the other parties
“If you’re happy now and you’re happy with the way things are going and when you go to the NHS and it’s been shut down and you’re happy because this is the Brexit you’ll get for the future. You will live by that.”
“But if you’re willing to take a chance and see if life can be different, different for the homeless, different for the people who are suffering… let’s bring back some humanity to this place.”
Shelagh, like the listeners who cheered Yvonne online, was taken aback by her passionate, clear argument.
“Yvonne, you are a fabulous speaker. You should stand for parliament!” She said. “My goodness you’re an effective communicator and that’s what they’re lacking.”
Maybe Yvonne is what the party needs in the run up to June 8.
