Here's a lovely tribute to Leonard Cohen from a producer who worked closely with him and says he was a joy to work with.
John Lissauer knew Cohen for more than 40 years and produced some of his best-loved records.
He joined Shelagh Fogarty on the line to pay tribute to his dear friend, admitting: "We just weren't prepared for this."
Cohen died on 7th November at home in Los Angeles, with his death announced overnight. Tributes poured in from other musicians, artists and even world leaders.
Cohen’s son Adam told Rolling Stone that his dad died “with the knowledge that he had completed what he felt was one of his greatest records. He was writing up until his last moments with his unique brand of humour.”
