A man has reportedly forced his way into Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in an attempt to marry his teenage granddaughter, Kai.
Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, was promptly arrested as he attempted to scale the golf course’s wall early on Tuesday morning.
Reyes reportedly told police of his obsession with 18-year-old Kai and claimed he was trying to “spread the gospel” to President Trump.
The president was not home at the time, but has been briefed on the situation, the White House said.
Kai’s location during the incident is unknown.
Reyes has been charged with trespassing and his bail has been set at $50,000, Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said.
This marks the second time Reyes has attempted to break into the president’s Florida golf course.
His first failed attempt took place on New Year’s Eve, when the president and his family were at home.
Kai shot to fame following her grandfather on the campaign trail during the 2024 presidential election.
With 1.7 million Instagram followers and 3 million on TikTok, the teen often shares pictures and videos alongside Trump.
The teenager is still in high school, but looks set to attend the University of Miami when she graduates.
