Five Israelis have been killed and a further 70 injured in the latest exchange of fire between Iran and Israel.
It comes after President Donald Trump urged both sides to "make a deal" as tensions reached boiling point in the Middle East.
On Sunday, Israeli strikes killed the chief of Iran's armed forces intelligence unit as Benjamin Netanyahu's forces continued to carry out attacks on Iranian targets.
On Sunday afternoon, Iran launched another wave of drones and ballistic missiles, but the IDF said most were intercepted, and there were no reports of any impacts.
Israel launched its first round of strikes on Friday, hitting 250 sites including nuclear facilities, military sites and populated areas.
According to Iranian media, at least 224 people have been killed by Israeli strikes since Friday.
The US president said calls and meetings were taking place to get both sides to come to the negotiating table and end the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

Israel has claimed it has achieved “aerial superiority” over the Iranian capital of Tehran.
The IDF says it has destroyed enough of Iran’s air defences that it can operate planes over the capital without facing major threats.
A statement claims Israel now completely controls the skies over the city.
This has not yet been independently verified.
The IDF has confirmed eight people were killed in Iranian strikes last night.
In a statement on Monday, IDF spokesman Effie Defrin accused Iran of attacking civilians.
"Unfortunately, eight civilians were killed and dozens were injured. This is the face of the Iranian regime," he said.
"We strike at nuclear capabilities and military capabilities that were supposed to annihilate the Israelis, but they are targeting civilians."
Iran disputes Israel's claims, with at least 227 Iranian people killed by Israel in the last three days alone.
China has demanded Israel and Iran sit down together and reduce tensions "immediately."
"We urge all parties to immediately take measures to cool down the tensions, prevent the region from falling into greater turmoil, and create conditions for returning to the right track of resolving issues through dialogue and negotiations," Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Monday.
It comes as fighting enters its fourth day, with tensions threatening to boil over and spark a regional war in the Middle East.
Petah Tikva resident Yoram Suki rushed with his family to a shelter after hearing an air raid alert, and emerged after it was over to find his apartment destroyed on Sunday.
"Thank God we were OK," the 60-year-old said.
Despite losing his home, he urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to keep up the attacks on Iran.
"It's totally worth it," he said.
"This is for the sake of our children and grandchildren."
The President of the European Commission has given some insight into a conversation she had with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu.
Taking to X she said: "Europe has always been clear: Iran can never acquire a nuclear weapon. There is an urgent need for a negotiated solution.
"We have consistently voiced strong concerns about Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs — the same missiles indiscriminately hitting cities not only in Israel, but also in Ukraine.
"We also discussed Gaza. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is unacceptable. I reiterated our urgent call to allow all humanitarian aid to reach civilians in need immediately. "
According to Israel's health ministry, 287 people were hospitalised following Iranian strikes overnight.
One person remains in a serious condition, with the death toll expected to rise from five in the coming hours.
Local media are reporting three bodies have been found in Haifa, which would bring the number of fatalities to eight.
Israel's Defence Minister has warned Iranian civilians will "pay the price" for strikes on Tel Aviv overnight.
At least five people were killed when Iran hit the Israeli city on Sunday night.
Taking to X, Israel Katz branded Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a "cowardly murderer who fires targeted shots at the civilian home front in Israel".
Israel had killed at least 224 Iranians as of Saturday afternoon; this has likely risen since then.
Iran's latest strikes on Israel have caused "minor damage" to the US embassy in Tel Aviv, Mike Huckabee said.
No US personnel were injured in the strikes.
The death toll from strikes on Israel on Sunday night has risen to four, according to officials.
It was originally reported as three, but emergency workers have since discovered a man in his 80s dead in his apartment.
