A power cut in central London knocked out the famous lights in Piccadilly Circus as well as traffic lights in the area.

The power cut brought a new meaning to 'Black Friday' in central London tonight as the lights of the advertising screens of Piccadilly Circus went dark.

The outage caused traffic chaos in the busy area as traffic lights stopped working as well.
