Everyone Should Watch Bryony Gordon On How You Can Beat Mental Illness.

Bryony Gordon told Nick Ferrari how she copes with her OCD - and how we can beat mental illness.

The journalist, who runs the Mad World podcast, was speaking to LBC as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

She said: "I have good days, I have bad days. I had a reasonably bad day on Sunday and then I went and did some exercise.

But I think the point is, it's like with any chronic long-term illness, you manage it.

"The thing about us talking about this is that most mental illnesses are incredibly treatable if caught early, just like diabetes is manageable and you can live live a reasonably healthy life. But same with mental illnesses.

"This is why we need to get it early, we need to get it when it's when it manifests itself in teenagers and children."
