Lynne Featherstone says the Lib Dems have "gracefully" accepted the decision to leave the EU. 'Oh no you haven't!' says Iain Dale.
Just hours after the party leader Tim Farron gave a rousing conference speech that confirmed the Liberal Democrats would push for a second referendum, Lynne Featherstone joined Iain Dale on LBC.
Outlining why the party was energised and determined to seek a second vote on the EU, Baroness Featherstone said: "We're a relentlessly pro-European party and we accept, relatively gracefully, the fact that we lost the vote - "
"No you don't!" Iain cut in, "no, you don't!
"Tim Farron said in his speech this afternoon you would guarantee a second referendum. That's not accepting the vote of the British people!"
