Iain Scolds Those Trying To Politicise Jo Cox Death

17 June 2016, 17:54

Iain Dale severely scolds those who are trying to politicise the death of MP Jo Cox before the facts are known in this furious tirade.

Talking on his LBC show he tore into politicians and pundits who are trying to play politics with the death of the MP, who was killed yesterday.

"I’ve been appalled today listening to some blatant attempts by politicians, political figures, political commentators, who ought to know better, trying to politicise the events of the last 24 hours,” he said.

"Let's deal with some facts, rather than politically motivated speculation shall we."

"We have no idea, whether there was political angle to this murder yesterday. What we do know is that the man who has been arrested has a history of mental health problems."

"That is a fact. It's about the only fact that we do know."

"Now to attribute the hateful actions of one man to any political agenda at this stage speaks more about those who try to do this than they might like to admit."

Watch as he lets rip at those trying to score political points with the tragic death of Jo Cox.
